Explore word building for students with this Say It, Join It, Write It activity.

Perfect for EYFS students who are practising word building with CVC words, this activity encourages the children to look at the picture, say the word, then look at the letters and join the ones that build the word.

Students can then copy the word into the frame.

Students can listen carefully to the sounds they hear in each word, as they look at the graphemes they can see in the ‘join it’ section. Ideal for supporting children to develop their word building skills, this activity is great for children to try in phase 2 phonics lessons. Especially at Halloween :)
