Fahrenheit 451 Movie Guide | Questions | Worksheet (TV14 - 2018) challenges students to deconstruct the concepts in this dystopian story based on Ray Bradbury’s 1953 novel. Explore how intentions and outcomes don’t always measure up and ask students to research instances in history when book burning occurred. Examine a few of the powerfully loaded quotes by asking students to use the context of the film and their own words to interpret them. Ask students to compare and contrast how social media is used in Montag’s world with how it used in today’s world.
Note: The time stamps may be off by a few seconds, depending on the version of this movie you watch. If the times don’t seem to match up, I’ve also included a short description of where to stop the film for each question.

**CCSS Note: I’ve taken the liberty of aligning certain reading standards with the act of consuming content via the movie instead. Although students aren’t reading they are asked to perform the same cognitive functions on the content that they consumed from the movie.
**Distance Learning Tips:
- Distribute the digital PDF file or the google slides version to each student
- Use the screen sharing tool on your group call software to play the movie
- Pause the movie at each question to give students time to write/discuss
