Families PSHE Tutor Time or Lesson

This is a 15 minute tutor time PSHE session about families. It is suitable for KS2-KS4 (Ages 8-16, Years 4 - 11, Grades 4-10) and can easily be lengthened to last a whole lesson. It fits in to the PSHE curriculum and the new RSE and Health Curriculum. It covers:

• Definitions of the word ‘family’
• How families have changed over the years
• Different types of families
• Thinking and discussion tasks
• True and False Quiz to check learning and understanding
• 2 downloaded videos about types of families that will never disappear.

This session was originally used as a Year 7 (11 years old) PSHE tutor time session and was received very well by over 400 students.
