I made a feelings check in but it’s a bit big to fit into the photo so the video shows it better. Each colour represents an emotion which includes a lot of different synonyms which explain the type of emotion and how they may be feeling. The idea is that they have a peg (there are some examples on there but I haven’t named any yet) and when they come in the morning they move their peg to how they are feeling, this may change in the day and they are allowed to move it! This will help me know how the class are feeling but also help us talk about feelings and emotions more in circle time etc. If a child doesn’t want their peg on here, they don’t have to! I don’t want them to feel like they need to tell me and the class how they feel, it’s a choice!
