Figurative Language Assessment (Knighthood For Beginners)

This was a resource created for my Year 5 class to assess their understanding of figurative language (similes, metaphors, personification and alliteration) at the start of term. It uses Elys Dolan’s novel ‘Knighthood for Beginners’ as a focus but is easily adaptable for your own class’ needs. The word bank and starter resources are at the end of the slides.
