Five Pillars lesson 5 - Zakah

This is the 5th in a series of lessons looking at key Muslim beliefs and the Five Pillars of Islam. It is written for Year 5 but can easily be adapted. We look at picture clues for Zakah and discuss what it means to be generous without reward. We look at the aims of Zakah and where the money goes. A large group P4C discussion follows looking at our personal opinions on charity and responsibility. We finish with a reflection about how we can show more responsibility for others worldwide.
