Forest School Course Work and Resources

This bundle includes coursework and resources I made while completing my Level 3 Forest School Leader training. Really useful for you to refer to when completing your course and implementing Forest School in your setting. :-)

Level 3 Coursework -
*Unit 1, Task 1:
Identify the Principles and Holistic Approach to Learning and Development in Forest School.
*Unit 2, Task 1:
Outline the Development of Forest School in the UK and Locally, Including Detailing Local Practice and Networks, and Evaluate One Piece of Research on Forest School.
*Unit 4, Task 1:
The Woodland Environment – The Benefits of Woodlands, Their Structures and Management.

Focused Observations -
*A format I used to do some focused observations on the children over a unit of work. Diagrams used to create a visual! Great to use with SEN children.

EYFS Unit of Work -
*A unit of work based around the story of What the Ladybird Heard. EYFS objectives 40-60m and ELGs referred to. 6 lessons for a short term.

Risk Assessment Booklet and Safety Sweep Template -
*A Forest School Risk Assessment I have made for my school including a safety sweep template. The risk assessments may need editing to suit your school.
