Formation of Granite Tors in Dartmoor and Chalk Escarpments, South Downs. GCSE

A series of four A4 worksheets that cover the formation of Granite Tors and Chalk Escarpments. The Granite sheets covers the challenging process of hydrolysis as well as present day freeze-thaw action in an accessible way. Chalk sheets covers rock folding, differential erosion and moves onto the location of spring line villages. Sheets are in simple black and white format for easy photocopying. Objectives head each sheet linked to GCSE grades. Completed sheets form a model answer for students to refer to. Originally written for AQA A GCSE but objectives are generic enough to be applied to other courses.
