A worksheet for students to compare the prices from three fictional shops and decide which one has the best savings. Students need to be able to fluently convert and compare between fractions, decimals and percentages. The focus isn’t necessarily on calculating the values, but more on comparing values.
There is a ‘Maths In Real Life’-style discussion question at the end as well for them to consider that sometimes shops may advertise misleading sales, or for example may jack up their prices before applying inflated percentage discounts.
