Fractions (GRADE 5)

Fractions Math Mystery Activity "Case of The Forgetful Pharaoh" (GRADE 5 US Common Core Aligned). Students must use their fraction math skills to discover where the Forgetful Pharaoh left his Scepter in Ancient Egypt! They will be required to apply a variety of fraction skills over the 5 clues.

There are 5 clues to crack to solve the mystery:

Clue 1: Converting Improper Fractions to Mixed Numbers (Simplifying answers required)
Clue 2: Multiplying fractions by whole numbers (simplifying required + writing answers as a mixed number required)
Clue 3: Equivalent Fractions (Write the missing numerator/denominator)
Clue 4: Adding and Subtracting Fractions with unlike denominators (simplifying answers required)
Clue 5: Multiplying Fractions by Fractions
