France 1940-1950 Occupation and post war years - reading, translation

This worksheet is targeted to Year 13 students (WJEC, Eduqas, AQA) studying “France 1940-1950: The Occupation and the post-war years”. It includes a reading activity based on a newspaper article about the Commemorations on 8th May 2017 with vocab questions and comprehension questions, followed by a video (there is no speaking in the video) so students have a clearer idea of the Commemorations. Finally, there is a translation exercise so students can consolidate and manipulate the vocabulary and structures they read in the article.
