Frankenstein Drama Role Cards - Trial Activity

Suitable for Printing and Laminating.
These role cards are perfect to summarise ‘Frankenstein’ in a fun and engaging way.
Put your students into 5 groups, each representing a key character from the book (Dr Frankenstein, The Monster, Clerval, Elizabeth, Agathe).
Hand out the role card to students or let them choose themselves - 1 student per group represents the key character and the rest play the ‘jury.’
Give students time in their groups to plan their statement for the court based around a theme from the book.
After each character has presented their statement to the class, have the ‘jury’ vote on a verdict.
This is a great activity that can take up a whole lesson!
