Teach Your Child to Read™ is an online, direct instruction, phonics-based reading program designed for parents to help their children learn to read. We are offering the reading program free to pre-k to 3rd grade teachers and pre-k to 3rd grade school reading specialists to use as a classroom resource or to reveiw and recommend the program for home use.

Teach Your Child to Read™ is a 6-STEP, easy-to-use, online reading program for parents to use at home to teach their children how to read with phonics. The simple lessons in this program take only 5 minutes a day, so busy parents can easily squeeze them in.

Why is the program free for teachers?

While many students learn to read easily, some do not. And along with the extra resources you need to help these kids, you also have to deal with worried parents, asking you what they can do at home.

Imagine how much easier your job would be if parents were spending three, four, or five days a week at home—just a few minutes a day—teaching their children to read with phonics.

Teach Your Child to Read™ is ideal for a parent and child to use together. The program is designed for moms, dads, grandparents, nannies—even older siblings—who have never taught a child to read before. It’s easy to use, completely online, and each lesson is no more than 5 minutes.

If you are a pre-k to 3rd grade teacher, a school principal, or a pre-k to 3rd grade school reading specialist, to get free access, simply send your request to mary@teachyourchildtoread.com using your individual email address from your school system (e.g., yourname@yourschool.org) and describe your role as it relates to teaching children to read.

We look forward to hearing from you and doing our part to help all children learn to read!
