In this script two friends are talking about their upcoming summer plans in the future tense. One of them will be visiting their grandparents and the other will be going on a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Includes two versions of the reading: one with a glossary and reading comprehension questions in English and one with no glossary and reading comprehension questions in French for differentiated learning.
Activity idea: Have students underline all the future tense verbs they find in the reading. In class or for homework, have students write their own short paragraph about what they will be doing during their upcoming summer using the future tense.
