This resource was created for my Y10/11 students as a way to help them prepare for the Writing and Speaking components of the new AQA GCSE French examinations.
Contains 2 Word documents:
- Foundation level
- Higher level with a colour coded system to highlight the more complex structures and extra tenses.
Both texts include opinion phrases, different tenses and are translated in English to help comprehension. I have added the AQA recommended vocabulary from the “My studies”, “Life at school” and Education post-16" sections.
It is fully editable and once downloaded just remove the boxes to see the texts.

Sorted me out reasonably as a quick fix but not really what I’d describe as a knowledge organiser. Example texts still, rather lazily, had references to presumably author’s own school. Vocabulary lists just cut and pasted from exam board; no value-added.
