French nursery rhymes & poetries

The aim of this resource is to encourage KS3-4 students to improve their French pronunciation using French comptines as well as poetries. This is also a fantastic opportunity to prepare the new cohorts (years 7 & 8 2023 )who will sit the new GCSE, as per this will contain a paragraph to read in French. All songs/poetries come with video, links, as well as French and English lyrics.
Level 1:
Using nusery rhymes as the ground level is essential because, French children learn those songs during their early age and repeat them before developing their own speech.
level 2 :
this resource offers poems from famous French Poets such as Vêronique Colombé, Alain Bosquet who have allowed French pupils developing their memory by learning and practicing their poems.
Level 3:
Finally, the level 3 combined complex poems that are also called les fables de la Fontaine. Here students who mastered the first 2 levels can now be challenged, with complex tenses, adjectives, adv.
