They enable them to work more independently, both in class and at home. This French Telling the Time Reference Book has 14 pages, and features every analogue clock time in French. There’s a My Notes page too - I encourage students to make notes on their progress, and think about how they are progressing - we use this to inform and guide whole-group discussion about learning and progress in general, which is a really popular and effective activity too.
