This bundle contains the chemistry quizzes and tests that I use for the entire course of grade 11 chemistry (20 grade 11 chemistry evaluations with answers). There are 5 grade 11 chemistry tests, 14 grade 11 chemistry quizzes and 1 grade 11 chemistry final exam. All these assessments contain an answer key.
The topics are:
Unit #1 Matter and Bonding
covalent bonding, ionic bonding, metallic bonding, calculating protons, neutrons and electrons, structure of the periodic table, periodic trends, atomic radius, ionization energy, electron affinity, electronegativity, properties of ionic compounds, properties of covalent compounds, properties of metallic compounds, drawing Lewis structures, polar molecules, non-polar molecules, naming and predicting the chemical formula of ionic compounds, covalent compounds, poly atomics and multivalent metals.
Unit #2 Chemical Reactions
Balancing chemical equations, predicting the type of reaction and predicting the products of incomplete combustion reactions, complete combustion reactions, single displacement reactions, double displacement reactions, synthesis reactions and decomposition reactions.
Unit #3 Quantities in Chemical Reactions
Calculating the percent composition, calculating mass percent, calculating molecular formula, calculating empirical formula, and converting between moles, mass and particles. It also includes using stoichiometry to solve for the mass, molecules or moles of a product formed or a reactant used in a chemical reaction and solving for the limiting reactant, the amount of excess reactant and the percent yield.
Unit #4 Solutions and Solubility
The factors that affect rate of dissolving, solubility, acids and bases, titrations, total ionic equation and net ionic equation, solving for various concentrations (molar concentration, m/m%, m/v%, v/v%, ppm, ppb) and solution terminology. It also includes using solution stoichiometry to solve for the mass, molecules, moles or concentration of a product formed or a reactant used in a chemical reaction and solving for the limiting reactant or the amount of excess reactant.
Unit #5 Gas Chemistry
Using the gas laws to solve for temperature, pressure or volume of a gas, gas theory, the ideal gas law, Boyle’s Law, Charles’s Law, Gay-Lussac’s Law, Dalton’s laws, gas theory, solving for the molar mass and density of a gas. It also includes using gas stoichiometry to solve for the mass, molecules, moles or volume of a product formed or a reactant used in a chemical reaction.
