Fun starter. The students have to name a different ADJECTIVE for each letter of the alphabet. 6 of them have to be 6 letters+. The PowerPoint has a lot of fun images, answers and gifs. The students love this!

This is a witty little slide program like a fun parlor game you'd do at home. It is ingenious and well designed. I like how it challenges students to think of adjectives which is open ended- that is many answers can be offered. I think it would be a welcome addition to any English teachers bag of tricks for a rainy day. Dear SteveNoyce1: Would you look at my products at PaulSkittone7? I have a similar thing going. I called it Vocabulary Challenge and later Vocabulary Story. What I do is get ten vocabulary words from a high school list such as Banter. I write a short story incorporating the words then write a translation into simpler words: 1 Vocabulary Story 706 Purcell Premieres Dido and Aeneas . Purcell, the formidable English composer, was not above disingenuous behavior. He premiered his great work Dido and Aeneas in a quarantined girl's seminary. He corroborated his plan with the charlatan director. He needed a good review to exalt his reputation. So they arranged a configuration of claque in the audience to issue wild applause. However; they clapped at inappropriate times like during the melancholy parts. . . . 2 Vocabulary Story 706 Purcell Premieres Dido and Aeneas . Purcell, the great English composer, was not above dishonest behavior. He premiered his great work Dido and Aeneas in a locked down girl's religious training school. He corroborated his plan with the fake director. He needed a good review to boost his reputation. So they arranged a pattern of planted paid people in the audience to issue wild applause. However; they clapped at the wrong times like during the sad parts. This is a little witty program like a game you'd play on a rainy day; just the thing they will remember years later with a smile . Definitely recommended for a teacher's bag of tricks. Dear SteveNoyce1: Would you look at and review my stuff at Paulskittone7? It is similar to yours! . .
