Functional maths task: Given a map, a list of how many survivors are at each location and a set of instructions pupils work to rescue as many people as they can. This fills an hour lesson.

This is based on the Easter Egg hunt activity from functional mathematics but was altered for Halloween.

As a note, when I ran this with two groups the highest score (survivors rescued) was 85.

Amazing activity - perfect for Halloween week! Also, a bonus as we're based in Crewe so it is our local area, making it even more interesting. Thank you for creating this.
