The workbook includes various tasks and they are broken down as follows;
Setting up the game. Learners will identify a team name, captain and players for each team.
The rules. Learners will gain a full understanding of the ‘how to play’ and can discuss and make any changes or amendments to the game.
The pitch and playing area. An activity that familiarises the learners with the pitch layout.
Good balls and no balls. Learner to complete a task that will confirm their previous understanding of this controversial element of the game.
Skills and strengths. Learners to identify the many individual and collective skills and strengths utilised in the game from communication, motivation, etc.
