Students are given two gas chromatograms. The first is a chromatogram with external standards and the concentration of all species has been determined. The second chromatogram has data missing and the students have to determine the area for one peak (graphically using the trapezoidal method or simple triangle), the peak height for one peak and the retention time for one peak. The concentration has to be determined for all using ratios from the first chromatogram.
