This resource contains the revision notes required for GCSE Geography Paper 1. The topics needed for Paper 1 are ‘The Challenge of Natural Hazards’, ‘The Living World’ and ‘Physical Landscapes in the UK’. I did not study volcanoes, cold environments or glacial landscapes, so therefore they are not included in this resource.
The resource includes a total of 10 case studies that I studied when I was doing my GCSE’s. I studied Japan 2011 and Haiti 2010 earthquakes, Typhoon Haiyan tropical storm, Beast From The East UK extreme weather, Sandall Beat Wood ecosystem, deforestation in Malaysia, the Western Desert, Holderness Coastline, River Severn and Boscastle flood management.
This resource helped me to achieve a Grade 7 (A), even though I was only predicted a Grade 4 ©.
