This GCSE worksheet is dedicated to exploring the process of transpiration in plants.

It includes questions about the plant structures equivalent to pores in human skin, the transpiration stream, and the role of guard cells and stomata in regulating water loss.

The worksheet also challenges students to consider the adaptive significance of transpiration, the response of stomata to changes in water pressure, and the evolutionary adaptations of cacti in arid environments.

An answer sheet is provided for self-assessment or instructional use.
