GCSE Chemistry Changes at the electrode

A PowerPoint presentation, shockwave animation and cut and stick worksheet to help students visualise what happens to positive and negative ions when they reach the electrode surface. From this students can then see how half-equations are written and how they relate to the chemical change at the electrodes.
There is also an extension task to consider how electrolysis can be used to in electroplating.
