This powerpoint gives a a clear overview of English language paper 1. It is teacher led, then after 1 -2 slides pupils do a task, so it is nicely chunked and gradually leads on to skills for p1 beginning with revisiting word classes - has a few reading and analysis tasks, then moves on to language features - has tasks for these too.
