Students will look at the ‘Golden Age’ of the Weimar Republic, focusing on the significant changes in culture, the standard of living and the position of women. This lesson covers:

- Why was there a Golden Age?
- How did the standard of living change?
- The changes for women
- Changes in culture (art, architecture, film) plus opposition to these changes
- Overall, how much of a ‘Golden Age’ was this period?
