I have created a PowerPoint covering the new AQA (9-1) syllabus on the different lever class systems in the body and their mechanical advantages. The PowerPoint contains a lot of information for pupils to take in as well as a lot of questions that pupils can have a go at before the correct answer is given.
The starter questions look at previous learning on the three different levers in the body and the relation to sporting movements.
The plenary questions at the end of the PowerPoint are simple maths questions using the mechanical advantage equation, however teachers can expand on these to where they see fit in the class, and possibly ask their own AoL questions.
