Complete schemes of work, lesson plans and powerpoints to teach Science, written by a current Head of Physics rated Outstanding in his teaching and currently working at a school rated Outstanding by OfSted
This is a lesson and PowerPoint revising and summarising the Particle Model of Matter. This is the eighth lesson in the Particle Model unit of work (P3).
The lesson quickly recaps lessons 1 - 7 from this unit (which are available on this site and as a bundle) and covers the theories of solids, liquids and gases; the particle diagrams, density, specific heat capacity, specific latent heat and a qualitative assessment of the gas law.
Perfect for a revision lesson I'm doing for my year 11s before a test on the topic!

Just what I wanted, a brief recap for my Year 10s (I intend to amend it so it can be used for AFL), exactly right for a pre end of topic test warm up.<br />
However, there are a few calculation mistakes in it - check before using!

I have had a look through and amended the mistake on the units on the example of specific latent heat - thank you for spotting that!
