Generating Secure Passwords Hangman

Logging on Year 7 students can be a nightmare so last year, life was easier for them to all start with ‘Password1.’ which met the criteria for all our systems and made it easy to deal with subsequent login issues.

From a safety perspective, they soon needed to be updated so we played a few games of Guess my password hangman to demonstrate the use of numbers and special characters to make their password more complex.

Now formalised into an interactive PowerPoint ready for next year, pupils will be able to create stronger, more secure passwords in order to increase their personal security both in school and at home.
