Key Stage 4 ~ GCSE Biology~ lesson on Genetic Engineering. In this lesson, students will give some examples of how genetic engineering is used, describe an overview of how genetic engineering works and compare genetic engineering with selective breeding. Extension questions are included on the slides and there is a pick and mix of different tasks to select from for your students. Follows the GCSE Biology AQA course.

Note: on the AQA course, the molecular mechanism of genetic engineering is covered under Biotechnology (Topic 7 Ecology). We have included some bonus slides on it here for courses that teach this content as part of Inheritance.
