I have used this worksheet with pupils in KS3, KS4 and KS5. I have found that it worked particularly well with AS/A Level pupils, where pupils have a greater understanding of the interrelationships across different physical and human environments.

This worksheet aims to encourage pupils to read around the subject of Geography, promoting a greater interest in current affairs. The worksheet itself makes pupils to give a brief summary of the News Story before really linking this to the Geography curriculum, both topics that are perhaps being studied currently and those from prior learning.
