This game is a great way to emphasise, assess and observe your students understanding of numbers. CCSS 1NBT.1A is the fluency standard that is recommended.
Print and laminate, card stock would be ideal as it will give them a longer lifespan. Use in pairs, small groups or as a whole class.
If working in pairs or small groups you will need to print more than one copy!
How to play
Share the ‘I have’ cards to each student along with the number cards. The student with the first card will read their card. The student with the card that has the number that the previous student described will stand up and read their card.
