Grade 11 Physics Culminating Research Activity

This is a grade 11 physics culminating research activity. It involves using concepts from the waves and sound unit of grade 11 physics. Students work in groups to make a functioning musical instrument. They are required to give a presentation explaining how they built their instrument and explain the theory behind how it generates different frequencies of sound. This file gives the students detailed instructions on what they need to do to complete the culminating activity and there is a detailed marking rubric as well.
