Grammar, Punctuation, Spelling (GPS) Reasoning Cards Year 1

This resources has been created to develop children’s application and reasoning skills. I use these at the end of a session/unit to assess the children’s understanding of a concept. They can encourage children to take ownership of their learning. They can encourage children to explore, question and challenge different concepts. They can be used with the whole class as a hook for learning at the beginning of a session or as part of a plenary. They are great to display on working walls as an interactive prompt, children can put post its of their ideas on the poster! They can also be used in Talk Pairs or groups, giving children the opportunity to talk about the literacy.
