Summary of passage

Haile Selassie, also known as Ras Tafari, was a great leader from Ethiopia who became the emperor in 1930. He resisted the invasion of Italy during World War II and inspired his people to never give up. Haile Selassie believed in education and built schools and universities to give children the opportunity to learn. He was a strong advocate for African unity and helped establish the Organization of African Unity. Haile Selassie worked hard to improve living conditions and built hospitals and infrastructure. He was overthrown in 1974 but continued to fight for justice and human rights. Haile Selassie’s legacy as a great leader will always be remembered.
