A Halloween style maths worksheet that provides a variety of questions linked to being able to substitute in values as part of algebraic expressions to then be able to calculate the answer (e.g. n = 6 so 5n - 3 is the same as 5 x 6 - 3) using Halloween related images for Year 6 based on the White Rose Maths objectives but that can easily be used in other year groups.

Included as part of the worksheet are five different questions that provide variation to check understanding through the use of different question types.

There is also an extension task that provides challenge with a further 3 questions.

Answers are also included for all questions.

This worksheet can easily be used as a worksheet when teaching the objective or used for recap/ revision or even to be sent home as homework as a fun Halloween activity.
