Differentiated resource for children to practice writing digits 0-9.

Most suitable for year 1 students (LO: “Form digits 0-9.” consistent with the National Curriculum for year 1) who have enough pen control to begin learning to form digits of the correct size.

Resource can be used by E1 Functional Skills maths learners at the early stages of the course.

Differentiation:

  • red: tracing the inside of pre-printed digits
  • orange: tracing dotted digits
  • yellow: tracing by following key dots
  • green: writing independently in two 0.5cm squares per digit
  • blue 1: writing independently in one 1cm x 1cm square per digit
  • blue 2: writing independently in one 0.5cm x 0.5cm square per digit

Five 1cm x 1cm and five 0.5cm x 0.5cm practice sheets.
