Here is a term’s project based on Harry Potter, Hogwarts and school - or you can select from a range of creative activities to celebrate World Book Day.
Be creative with making a cocotte - pictures are included to show the finished versions which are used as prompts in speaking tasks to prepare a role play based on the Choixpeau scene. These ‘fortune tellers’ were created over a sequence of lessons to cover individual school items, adjectives to describe characters and simple sentences.
Activities are designed to develop speaking and listening skills in preparation for reading and writing at KS2 but can be used with Year 7.
Enough to keep you busy for a few weeks.
