Use First aid champions from the British Red Cross to teach primary-school pupils (aged 5-11) how to help someone who has a head injury.

  • Learn: use these resources to help children learn how to help someone who has hurt their head. You can pick from films, a PowerPoint presentation or a skill card.
  • Practise use these resources to help children practice how to help someone who has hurt their head. You can pick from role-playing to other drama activities like freeze frames and hot seating.
  • Share encourage childre to share what they have learned with others. Spreading the messages of first aid and kindness with others. Perhaps they could make a poster, write a poem or a play or simple share teach others.
