thanks great notes just one quibble (in your section on Luther you mention he believed works were important but especially faith. I would say this is does not give due weight to Luthers emphasis on Justification by Faith Alone. Works being subsequent and the evidevnce of salvation not meriting Gods salvation). once again thanks for the notes very helpful. John
