Highwayman Inspired Poetry Unit - Titanic

Unit of poetry lessons, slides and images based on The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes. CHildren learn and study the structure of The Highwayman and then reinvent their own version to write a narrative poem about the Titanic. Using Year 4 writing objectives but could be adapted for any KS2 year group.

Resource include planning, slides, images, Working Wall images and text, The Highwayman text and an example poem about the Titanic based on The Highwayman.
