Learning to spell homophones is not just about knowing when to use which word, it is about being able to use the letters in the word to help you choose which word it should be.
I have made simple, but clear and consistent, posters/help sheets which provide fun ways to help you remember homophones (written in black). For each one I have also given a sentence using that homophone correctly (written in red).
26 Homophones included: all the ones mentioned on Year 3/4 curriculum. Plus a few additional ones e.g. four and for.
6 near homophones included: any from the 3/4 curriculum and others that I found needed teaching due to regional accents e.g. are and our, won and one!
