Horror Story Writing Unit

This is a horror story writing unit aimed at broad general education students in S1 - S2 (10-13), though may be adapted for slightly younger or older ages.

The unit focuses upon key aspects of story writing:

• showing rather than telling
• development of setting, plot and character
• improving word choice and grammar

This unit is open to adaptation so if you find parts of it useful but not the whole thing then please feel free to change it to suit your lessons. These are based around lessons within 50-minute slots.
