Minibeasts are small creatures that don’t have a
backbone – snails, spiders, beetles, slugs, worms, ants,
butterflies and more. They are an important part of any
garden, are great pollinators and water purifiers, and
kids love them! This activity sheet shows you how to
build a fantastic minibeast motel to encourage them to
take up residence safely in your school grounds.

This is a great idea! We are currently doing a minibeast topic at our pre-school as well as looking to develop our side garden using various different things such as old chimney pots, wellies, buckets etc to plant in etc so this will tie in well teaching the children about recycling. Thank you
