This is a lesson starter for students to understand Expressions and Equations. When students enter the room they should be given a card. Then one of the Equations should be read out and students should come to the front and try to solve the equations as a team.
This is very good for low ability students who tend to struggle with equations and it allows students to work in a team and develops their teamworking skills.
