A simple PowerPoint presentation that requires students to work in groups to produce a written report on the 1930 election in Germany. This begins with a series of index cards with different facts on them, thus requiring the students to move around the classroom to gain full knowledge of the election results. Student groups then produce a list of conclusions that can be learned from the election and turn this into a written report. The lesson concludes with a class discussion on the results of the 1930 election and the role it plays in Hitler’s rise to power.
