An introductory unit of work with core reading texts mostly based on the now old Cambridge Coursebook Unit 1 texts and some InThinking resources (subscription required for a couple of activity resouces here), this unit of work also includes authentic listening comprehension opportunities to support the new syllabus, as well as offering introductions to text types in general and the new Language B Conceptual Understandings. There is also focused work on blogs, and a structured class debate branching out into other themes (identities, social relationships, experiences)
