This is an examiner created resource designed to enhance student readiness for the International GCSE Paper 1 - for both reading and writing components. It can be delivered in one lesson ahead of the exam, or, the tasks can be extended into full practice questions over a series of lessons. The booster resource will enable students to:
- Become more familiar with the components of the paper.
- Understand the different skills and strategies to use for each question.
- Explore what a good one looks like (WAGOLL) for question 4.
- Feel more adept at planning for questions 5 & 6.
