This PowerPoint goes through the mathematics needed to calculate Kinetic, Work Done and Gravitational Potential Energy. It builds on and reviews velocity calculations. There are two versions of a step-by-step object on a slope experiment which will enable pupils to test the equating of the formulae for Kinetic energy and Work Done and utilise this for calculating braking forces due to friction.
